Czech Republic businesses seek investment opportunities in Vietnam

Czech Republic businesses showed their keen interest in the Vietnam market and aspired to partner with their Vietnamese counterparts at a February 17 seminar in Prague.
The seminar was attended by dozens Czech Republic businesses involved in farm produce processing, mechanical engineering, waste treatment and environment protection was designed to seek investment and cooperation opportunities in Vietnam.

Vaclav Aubrecht, President of the Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry highlighted Vietnam, with huge potential for stronger development, a vast 90- million people market, and an improved environment, as one of attractive destinations in Asia for Czech businesses.
Unlike other demanding EU markets, the Czech Republic can offer favourable conditions for Vietnam businesses to have easier market access and gain a firm foothold, he noted.
During the seminar, a number of documents outlining future cooperation on tourism development, vocational training, mechanical engineering, agricultural production and trademark promotion was signed.
