Cultural day of peace to kick off
The event aims to highlight the 60th anniversary of Hanoi’s Liberation Day (October 10) and the 15th anniversary of UNESCO recognition of Hanoi as a City of Peace.
The festivities are set to get underway at Ly Thai To flower garden in Hanoi on October 12.
With messages of peace, more than 2,000 participants, including 1,000 representatives of international organizations and foreign embassies are expected to participate in the event.
