Contestant Vu Thi Van Anh crowned Miss Ha Long 2016
During the finale night of the Miss Ha Long pageant held in the Quang Ninh province on May 2, contestant Vu Thi Van Anh overreached 20 others to be crowned Miss Ha Long 2016.
Contestant Bui Hoang Linh was the runner-up and Vu Nguyen Bich Ngoc gained the third place.
The winners of Miss Ha Long 2016 will be eligible for the final round of the Miss Vietnam 2016 in the north.
The Miss Ha Long pageant aims to celebrate the 85th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCMCYU) and was part of the Ha Long Carnival 2016.
This year’s pageant drew over 100 beauties from Quang Ninh province and localities nearby.
The biennial pageant was co-hosted by the HCMCYU’s provincial chapter, the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Women’s Union and the Au Lac – Tuan Chau Quang Ninh company.
The winners of Miss Ha Long 2016 will be eligible for the final round of the Miss Vietnam 2016 in the north.
The Organising Board presents the Miss Ha Long 2016 award to Vu Thi Van Anh.
