The tourism trend for the community will no longer be just a small field of tourism, but will be increasingly favored by the public and interwoven into the daily travel demand. Tourists will get more information, so they will have high demand when choosing hotels and other green and civilized travel options.
Similar to the star rating of a hotel, by 2030, we can see hotels widely publicizing their carbon footprints.
Tourists for the community will not only require a good meal but also use local sources. They will not only require a battery charger, but also a source of energy-efficient electricity such as solar cells. Hotels that want to promote a civilized image for the community will need to show that they use renewable energy, minimize waste, contribute to the development of the community and pay a living wage for their employees.
The constant development with regard to consumer tastes has have a strong impact on the demands and needs of tourists. Many major hotel chains are implementing various services or utilizing a number of brands to target specific groups of tourists in recent years.

By 2030, when customers are more interested in “community based products” from well-known brands, investors and project owners are expected to have more solid and energy saving buildings. More sophisticated requirements with regard to technologies and management software will play a key role in influencing customers’ purchase decision.
For hotels in urban area, the increased frequency of using public places will be a trend in 2030. This will focus on co-working space and eateries, which are not only for customers, but also for citizens living nearby.
On the other hand, hiring a more specialized building management unit will be more common in 2030. This in turn will create a stream of additional revenue for hotels and investors. Some co-working space management units are expected to open their own hotel brand in the future.
Opportunities for management units and investors will be the increase number of tourists visiting and staying in tourist resorts in 2030. While big cities will remain an attractive destination for tourists, there will be more demand in exploring places less well-known to tourists.
