Circus festival to dazzle City

Circus artists from Viet Nam, Russia and Belarus will entertain audiences in HCM City with extravagant performances to usher in the Lunar New Year.

The 1st International Circus Festival will offer circus, puppet, dance and fire art performances by art troupes which have performed in many places around the world.

The festival depicts enchanting stories about beautiful dreams and hopes. In coloured costumes, they will perform on a wonderful stage incorporating light and sound effects. Their show includes stimulating visual imagery and puppets.

The 10-day festival will be staged every night at 8pm from February 20 to March 1 at the Gia Dinh Park Circus on Hoang Minh Giam Street in Go Vap District. Tickets are VND100,000 (US$5) and available at the box office.
