Two runners-up will represent Vietnam at the Miss International and Miss Supranational pageants respectively.

The show selecting the national representatives to compete in international pageants is modelled after the selection process used in Venezuela and India.

Entrants must be between 18-25 years old with the height of above 1.65 metres and have Vietnamese nationality. They cannot have had any aesthetic or transgender surgery. Previous beauty contest winners are entitled to enter the contest.

Contestants will be guided by Vietnam and world’s leading experts in such training programmes as physical beauty, costume selection, communication skills, behaviour and the participation in charity activities.

The qualifying round is scheduled for September 20 in Hanoi and September 1 in Ho Chi Minh City. The programme will have 75 episodes and broadcast everyday from late September 2014 on VTV6 channel.

The show is being co-organized by Elite Model Management Company in collaboration with BHD Co. Ltd.
