At a welcoming reception, Anelia Krushkova noted this is her fifth visit to Vietnam and she has always been impressed by Vietnam’s inherently beautiful landscapes, especially Ha Long Bay, and the nation’s hospitable people.
She said her first tour to Vietnam came at the invitation of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2008.
She emphasised that though Vietnam and Bulgaria have nurtured a traditional and close relationship, the number of Bulgarian tourists to Vietnam remains limited due to the long distance between the nations and poor marketing activities.
She expressed hope that her visit will serve as a bridge to strengthen tourism between the two nations.
The delegation is scheduled to visit HCM City, Ha Long Bay, Danang, Hoi An, Nha Trang and Phan Thiet.
