One of the time when Van Phuc silk weaving village (Ha Dong) attracts a lot of tourists is the beginning of the year. Visitors come here not only to buy their own silk products, but also immerse in the space filled with cultural color festival of a traditional village with long tradition.

Similarly, Bat Trang pottery village (Gia Lam) also has a favorable start to welcome large tourist arrivals. Especially, Bat Trang village festival of Dinh Dau just a few days ago is an important highlight to "open" for the village tour. Statistics of the organizers show that in three days of the festival (March 11 - 13), about 300 tourists visited Bat Trang village each day. That is not to mention hundreds of visitors often visiting the ceramic market.

Promoting the strength of the village associated with tourism is the story of Hanoi as well as many related departments concerned over the years. In addition, there is no denying the efforts of some craft villages to continuously improve all aspects, from products to services to satisfy tourists. For example, Van Phuc Silk Village has reviewed and listed household businesses, typical craft villages as well as food service establishments, historical and cultural sites to introduce and promote Travel companies. In addition, Van Phuc has built a support desk for tourists, announcers, setting up hotlines, ensuring environmental sanitation, landscape decoration and supporting registered producers.

According to the statistics, Hanoi has more than 1,300 trade villages, if exploited well to serve the tourism, surely the village will make contribution to raising income and life for people.
