2nd International Watercolor Biennale

Exhibition of 217 watercolor artworks from 45 countries, featuring world-class watercolor artists.
The 2nd International Watercolor Biennale, co-organized by the International Watercolor Society in Vietnam and Hanoi Museum. The exhibition will display 217 artworks by 216 watercolor artists from 45 countries in the world. In particular, with the participation of world-class watercolor artists such as: Uruguayan-Australian artist Alvaro Castagnet, Liu Yi, Amit Kapoor,… this will be a chance for the audience to see with their own eyes the original works of these world-famous artists.
On the 23rd and 27th of October there will be a painting performance by the President of International Watecolor Society, Turkish-Canadian artist Atanur Dogan and other international as well as local artists, including: Alvaro Castagnet, Liu Yi, Amit Kapoor, Mai Nguyen, Bui Duy Khanh, Yuko Nagayama, Helidon Haliti, Myint Naing, Lafe, Zeze Lai, Besnik Xhemali, Binh Chu, Chow Chin Chuan, Thu Huong Nguyen, Jansen Chow, Agus Budyanto, Subin Muang Chan, Liu Xi De, Ho Hung, Doan Van Toi, Thuy Duong, Hoang Vo, Nguyen Thuy Anh, Truong Van Ngoc, Toan Nguyen, Megha Kapoor, Maneerat Skirampa, Win Xin Lin, Chiayee Lam,…
On the 25th of October on Cat Ba Island, nearly 100 artists of this exhibition will together create a 40-meter painting, which is going to be considered the longest watercolor painting of Vietnam.
Activities of the event will continue until 30 Oct 2017, the exhibition will end on 15 Nov 2017.
International Watercolor Biennale Exhibition will open from 23 Oct to 15 Nov at Hanoi Museum, No. 2 Pham Hung Street, Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi.
