This figure was unveiled by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Chief Representative Mori Mutsuya at a press briefing in Hanoi on March 6.
Mori highlighted the fruitful bilateral relations in recent years, affirming that Japan always attaches importance to assisting Vietnam in national and economic development.
“Vietnam is making every effort in its bid to transform the nation into a modern industrial complex by 2020” he said.
“Japan will continue providing aid to Vietnam in this process. I wish to see further development in Vietnam in the next two decades,” he concluded.
