Press Center for National Party Congress opens in Hanoi

The Center will support and facilitate the journalists' activities, helping them to accurately and effectively report on the Congress, which will take place from January 25 to February 2.

The Press Center for the 13th National Party Congress will serve nearly 600 domestic journalists and technicians, and resident correspondents of foreign news agencies in Vietnam. Nearly 100 reporters from 84 foreign news agencies will cover the event online.

The information was released by Mr. Le Manh Hung, the Vice Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information and Education, at the launching ceremony of Press Center on January 22 in Hanoi.  

Mr. Hung, who is also the Director of the Press Center, said the Center will support and facilitate the journalists' activities, helping them to accurately and effectively report on the Congress, which will take place from January 25 to February 2.

The organizers have conducted Covid-19 tests for all the reporters, editors, technicians from domestic and international media as well as staff of the Press Center.

The Press Center has issued regulations for jounalists and given them press accreditation card.
