A Hanoi company leader suspended from work due to violation of Covid-19 protocols

N.V.T, director of the Hacinco, an affiliate of HADICI, and his wife have smashed the whole system’s efforts in the fight against the outbreak.

The directorate of Hanoi Housing Development and Investment Corporation (HADICO) has suspended N.V.T, from the Party and his pHacinco director dismissed for spreading Covid-19 virus iosition of the director of Hanoi Construction and Investment Company (Hacinco) for violating Covid-19 pandemic prevention regulations.

T is the first leader of a Hanoi company having broken the city’s regulations and smashed the whole system's efforts in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

The decision was made on May 13 after T was found to be dishonest in his health declaration when he and his wife returned home from the central beach city of Danang, where is dealing with the novel coronavirus outbreak.

Many offices and buildings in Hanoi have been put under lockdown, including the Emergency Department of Vietnam - Russia Friendship Hospital, the building of Jewelry Company in 91 Dinh Tien Hoang and the Center Point Building in 27 Le Van Luong.

Local authorities have indentified nearly 200 people who had direct contact with T from May 2-12. Hanoi on May 12 detected two infected people in Ha Dong district who came into close contact with T.

After returning from Danang, T brought his wife to take health check at Thu Cuc General Clinic in Cau Giay district, however they were refused due to an epidemiological factor travelling from Danang. The couple then went to work, visiting many places in Hanoi and the northern province of Bac Ninh, joining in various conferences, meeting many guests and playing golf.

On May 12, due to a cough and sore throat, the couple went to the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Hospital to get a checkup. They tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, with patient code BN3633 and BN3634 announced by the Ministry of Health.

The Hanoi Department of Health on May 13 suspended medical examination and treatment activities of Thu Cuc General Clinic, a member of the Thu Cuc International General Hospital, at 216 Tran Duy Hung, Trung Hoa, Cau Giay, Hanoi.

The suspension is to verify information related to the clinic’s receiving and handling process of Covid-19 cases recorded on May 12, 2021 and ensure safe pandemic prevention and treatment.
