According to the People's Committee of Lai Chau province, the event will kick off at 20:00 on December 18 in the area of the Octagonal House and the Ly Thai To Flower Garden with a unique artistic program, with the theme "Colorful Lai Chau" and street festival activities on pedestrian streets around Hoan Kiem lake.

“This is a joint activity for tourism development between Lai Chau and Hanoi in response to the domestic travel stimulus program,” Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism Tran Trung Hieu said.  “At the same time, the event is to realize the dual goal under the direction of the government which is to ensure the Covid-19 prevention and boost socio-economic development,” he added.
